OBA Date Change

The FCC has a tradition of hosting its annual Outstanding Business Achievement (OBA) awards gala the last Saturday of February. But as the FCC’s Courtenay Gardiner tweeted earlier today: “Not this year.”

It’s a “long story” but for a number of reasons this year’s OBA gala will be held on the evening of Saturday, March 2 at the beautifully renovated (as in $5 million) Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club. As usual, the OBA gala will ‘celebrate and honour the best best in local corporate excellence and community service.’ Among the VIP’s joining us will be MP David Sweet, MPP Ted McMeekin, Mayor Bob Bratina and Flamborough Councillors Robert Pasuta and Judi Partridge.

The annual OBA gala is evolved into ‘the social event of the year’ in Flamborough. It’s also a great way to beat the winter doldrums. Plan now to join us. The registration form can be found by clicking HERE.
