The FCC is planning a significant number of events over the next number of months. What follows is a summary:

FCC Christmas Reception: Boston Pizza is again hosting one of the most popular events on the FCC calendar – the annual FCC Christmas reception. Offering complimentary munchies, a free beverage and door prizes (draw at 6 p.m.) this year’s event will be held on Tuesday, December 4. This is a come-and-go event starting at 5 p.m. and pre-registration is not required. Take a few moments out of the busy season to extend best wishes of the season to your FCC friends and colleagues. And the networking opportunities are free!!

Business After Five: The ‘new’ and very impressive Rescued and Restored facility in Freelton – in support of Drummond House – is hosting a Business After Five (BA5) on Wednesday, January 30. Plan now to attend.

MPP Report: While a definite date has yet to be confirmed, Ancaster-Dundas-Flamborough-Westdale MPP Ted McMeekin – the provincial Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) – has agreed to be a speaker at an MPP Reports breakfast sometime in January. With Premier McGuinty resigning, a Liberal leadership race, the end to the slots and trots program and a major restructuring of the OLG, there’s lots to talk about. A question and answer session will follow MPP Ted’s formal comments. Stay tuned.

Business After Five: Have you wondered what that impressive new building at the corner of Highway #5 and Coreslab Drive is all about? Find out more on Wednesday, February 13 when Brown Financial – a proud new member of the FCC – hosts a Business After Five beginning at 5 p.m. Pre-registration is not required. The usual will apply – great networking opportunities, complimentary munchies and beverages and a draw for door prizes at 6 p.m.

Outstanding Business Achievement (OBA) Awards Gala: Plan now to join us at ‘the’ social event of the year in Flamborough – the annual Outstanding Business Achievement (OBA) awards gala where the FCC honours and celebrates the very best in corporate excellence and community service. The OBA will again be held on the last Saturday in February (February 23). Reserve the evening now. Details will be announced once they have been confirmed.
