2013 Flamborough Open

The clock is ticking as the FCC and the Rotary Club of Waterdown prepare for the 2013 Flamborough Open.

The organizing committee for this year’s tournament – scheduled for Wednesday, May 29 at the Carlisle Golf & Country Club – is meeting weekly to make this another successful event. It is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the FCC and the proceeds represent an essential component of the annual budget. Translation? To continue to be the effective and credible ‘Voice of Business’ in Flamborough, we need a very successful tournament.

And don’t forget that the Rotary Club of Waterdown portion will go entirely – as in 100 percent – to a wide variety of worthy local, national and international causes and projects.

While we are gratified by the number of golfers who have registered to date, there is still room for more. We are especially eager to recruit additional ‘hole’ (restricted to only one sponsor each) and ‘contest’ sponsors. If you can support us in these areas, please contact the FCC office.

After a one year absence (because of conflicting schedules), auctioneer Jim McCartney will return to once again work his magic. If you are able to provide a contribution to the live auction and/or the door prizes, we’d love to hear from you.

Remember that we will recognize all our sponsors in 12 successive monthly editions of the Bottom Line. What a great way to support the FCC … and promote your business.
