Rudy Slipper Men’s Walk – Want to see some men looking silly in red high heel shoes? Then make sure to attend – or better yet, participate in – this year’s Ruby Red Slipper Walk (A Walk to End Violence Against Women) in support of the Flamborough Women’s Resource Centre and Interval House. Eric’s Amazing Race – The wife-and-husband team of Heather Johnston and Ted Lindsay (Flamborough Review) are hosting the 10th annualEric’s Amazing Race in support of muscular dystrophy and genetic research on Saturday, November 3 at the Waterdown Legion. Heather and Ted were recognized for the efforts with the FCC’s Sandy Gray/Weeks Home Hardware Community Service by Individual Award in 2009 at the annual Outstanding Business Achievement (OBA) awards gala.
