With just one week to go, it’s ‘down to the crunch’ for the 2015 Flamborough Open!

The long-range forecast calls for mostly sunny skies, moderate temperatures and only a slight possibility of rain. So … it’s time to dust off the clubs and register for Flamborough’s premier golf tournament.

Co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Waterdown (RCW) and the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce (FCC), each and every golfer will go home with a 2-4-1 coupon for which can be used at any of the six Kaneff golf courses (Lionhead, Royal Ontario, Royal Niagara, Carlisle, Century Pines and Streetsville Glen), a beautiful hanging plant from Terra – Where Colour Lives and a $100 coupon for a cruise or land resort from Expedia Cruiseshipcentres in Waterdown. The total value exceeds the registration fees. It’s a little like ‘golfing for free.’

The proceeds will be divided between the RCW (‘Service Above Self’) and the FCC. The RCW portion will be given to a variety of worthy causes locally, nationally and internationally. The FCC component is an important part of the annual budget and allows it to remain the credible and effective ‘Voice of Business’ in Flamborough.

Response to date has been very gratifying … but … there is still room for sponsorships and (especially) more golfers. We sincerely hope more golfers will join us.
