Perhaps it’s because Premier Kathleen Wynne will be joining us. Or maybe it’s all the other VIPs who will be attendance (MP David Sweet, MPP – and Minister of Community and Social Services – Ted McMeekin, Mayor Bob Bratina and Flamborough Councillors Robert Pasuta and Judi Partridge). Perhaps the incredible quality of this year’s nominees played a role.

Whatever the reason, ticket sales for this year’s Outstanding Business Achievement (OBA) awards gala – ‘the social event of the year’ in Flamborough – are ‘tickling sold out status.’

Hosted by the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce (FCC), the annual OBA gala ‘celebrates and honours the very best in corporate excellence and community service.’ This year’s OBA gala will be held at the beautifully-renovated Flamborough Hills Golf & Country Club in Copetown on Saturday, March 2.

Why not purchase a table of eight and invite some business colleagues and/or senior staff to join you? It’s a great way to network with current and/or potential clients or recognize and reward an important member of your team while at the same time breaking up the winter doldrums.

In order to allow the team at Flamborough Hills to properly prepare for this year’s plated steak dinner (no buffet this year), we have set an absolute registration deadline of 2 p.m. Monday, February 25.
