With the weatherman teasing us about Spring, it is time to start thinking GOLF!!

Representing a unique – and wonderful – community partnership, the Rotary Club of Waterdown (RCW) and the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce (FCC) are busy making all the preparations for the 2014 Flamborough Open.

This year’s tournament will be held on WEDNESDAY, MAY 28 (the last Wednesday in May) at the Carlisle Golf & Country Club. Every single golfer – regardless of skill level – will go home with a beautiful hanging flower basket from Terra (Where Colour Lives) as well as a ‘2-4-1’ coupon for any of the Kaneff golf courses (Lionhead, Royal Ontario, Royal Niagara, Carlisle, Century Pines and Streetsville Glen). The Kaneff 2-4-1 coupon has a value of up to $150.

This is the biggest (once a year) fundraiser of the year for the FCC. The proceeds play a huge role in allowing the FCC to remain the credible and effective ‘Voice of Business’ in Flamborough.

It is the second biggest fundraiser of the year for the RCW (second only to the wildly successful Canada Day Ribfest). Every penny of the RCW portion will go to a variety of worthwhile projects – here in Flamborough, across Canada and around the world.
