Last April, the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce (FCC) made a presentation – complete with specific recommendations – to the ‘Open For Business’ sub-committee of Council. The submission was presented after the FCC met with Chair Russ Powers (Ward 13 – Dundas) and member Robert Pasuta (Ward 14 – West Flamborough) and held a public meeting (with Councillors Powers and Pasuta present) where attendees were encouraged to share their ‘red tape horror stories.’

In time, FCC Executive Director Arend Kersten met with senior members of Hamilton’s Planning and Economic Development Department to discuss the city’s response to the FCC presentation.
