AND THE WINNERS ARE …

Organizers of the 2015 Flamborough Open at the Carlisle Golf & Country Club worried about the predictions of rain on Wednesday, May 27. While there was a brisk wind, the rain stayed away, contributing to another very successful Flamborough Open.

The annual tournament is co-hosted by the Rotary Club of Waterdown (RCW) and the Flamborough Chamber of Commerce (FCC). The two organizations split the proceeds, with the RCW (‘Service Above Self’) portion going to a variety of local, national and international causes. The FCC portion is an essential component of the annual budget, allowing it to remain the credible and effective ‘Voice of Business’ in Flamborough (particularly when it comes to Hamilton City Hall). Organizers want to extend its deep appreciation to all those who contributed in one way or another.

With a score of minus 10, the winning team (below) – representing Canada Life – was comprised of Ron Tratechaud, Dave Kerman, Frank Sobrinho and Mike Bobkowicz. Dave Kerman also won the Mens Closest to the Pin contest._DSC5046

Greg Parker and Karen Vanluven won the ‘Longest Drive’ contests and Susan Collette was the winner in the Womens Closest to the Pin contest._DSC5042Watch for full coverage in the June edition of the Bottom Line.
